Online casino gaming is still a relatively new concept in many parts of the United States. While it has been commonplace across other parts of the world for many years, it is still a growing concept in the USA. However, a growing number of operators are moving into this territory. And now it looks like popular Gaming Innovation (GiG)-powered casino brand PlayStar will be joining the fray. They are set to move into the New Jersey market, one of the most popular markets within the USA.
This new move will see the group continue their rapid expansion into various domestic markets. They will see them partner up with the iGaming platform of GIG, with a revenue-sharing agreement now put in place. This agreement is set to last for a minimum of four years, and is expected to give both companies a chance at moving into a new market profitably.
GiG announced that this platform will ensure that players are able to enjoy a unique experience within US online casino gaming.
A new opportunity for New Jersey gamers to capitalise upon
As part of the press release around the new product, Chief Executive Officer of GiG, Richard Brown, said: “From the beginning of our agreement, we at GiG have been impressed with the extremely strong product vision at PlayStar, backed by what is a very experienced industry team.
“We’re delighted that our technology has played a central role in the New Jersey launch, and can be proud that, as PlayStar establishes itself as a strong and innovative iGaming brand in the US, the success of our partnership will further demonstrate and drive our ambition to be the platform partner of choice for operators in regulated markets,”
PlayStar, a privately owned company founded by Joel Wikell, is one of the fastest growing names in the casino industry. They company was co-founded by Adam Noble, who worked with popular platforms Yggdrasil and Play’n’Go.
New Jersey has seen massive growth since online casino gaming was regulated in the state. With this new release, even more opportunity is there for gamers in the state to enjoy an opportunity at something a little bit different from what they might be used to.
