NetEnt has long been seen as one of the most consistent and trusted developers in the industry. The Stockholm-listed firm have been around for some time, with their experience becoming a hallmark of the online casino gaming industry. However, they have recently set up a deal with the Swedish state-owned gaming operator, Svenska Spel, to provide online games in the now regulated gaming market.
That is a huge boo for the company, and, as Fredrik Wastenson, the Managing Director of Svenska Spel Sport & Casino said, were “an obvious choice” to join the market. Now as part of the marketplace entirely, Wastenson said: “We are convinced that NetEnt will deliver casino games of the highest quality and become a very important partner for us.”
Meanwhile, the deal was equally as positive on the end of the NetEnt team. Managing Director of NetEnt Malta, Henrik Fagerlund, remarked: “I am very pleased that Svenska Spel has selected NetEnt as supplier ahead of the Swedish market re-regulation,
“Svenska Spel is the most established gambling operator and the largest sponsor of sports in Sweden. We really look forward to a close collaboration to deliver best-in-class digital casino games to Svenska Spel’s customers.”
These are obviously good times in the community. With so many new opportunities sparking up from across the industry as a whole, it’s safe to say that the good times are well and truly on their way. With NetEnt involved again, then, Swedes can get excited.
