In what is almost certainly a landmark moment for the company, NetEnt gaming has secured a new gaming deal with the US state of Pennsylvania. This exciting new deal comes as part of a new customer agreement with Penn Online Entertainment LLC, who is a subsidiary of Penn National Gaming’s Penn Interactive Ventures.
Always a company looking to move forward rather than back, this should come to an as little surprise to many. The move to help secure NetEnt’ position in the industry is admirable and will go some way to making sure they become a leading name in the USA as well as Europe.
Speaking about the move was NetEnt Americas LLC Managing Director Erik Nyman, who said: “This deal marks NetEnt’s first customer signing for Pennsylvania and is an important step in our growth strategy in North America. I look forward to our collaboration with Penn National and believe that our entertaining online games will be much appreciated by players in Pennsylvania.”
Likewise, there was a delight on the side of Penn Interactive Ventures. Managing Director Chris Sheffield was noted as saying: “We are pleased to offer NetEnt’s portfolio of online games to our HollywoodCasino.com customers and look forward to partnering with NetEnt to launch online gaming in Pennsylvania.”
This interesting move is one of a number of stateside moves being managed by NetEnt. As they continue to cement their reputation across the wider gaming industry, this move only goes to show where ambitions lie.
